My Hike:

2/2015 They weren’t kidding when they said this route was lung-busting and I almost regretted not going with the others in our group that did the Tubal Caine trail. This was part of a day hiking weekend in the Olympics, we also did Klahhane Ridge the next day. The views were hit and miss but I did love the red rock and and there was a bit of snow patches at the top. Hard to believe it was February and there was so little snow at top.  It was chilly and socked in so we ate a few quick bites and then wandered back down.  This one will have to be a repeat so I can come back and see the views everyone talks about.  Having been to Marmot Pass multiple times, it would be fun to make an overnight of doing both from that end.

Directions: From Quilcene, travel north for 2 miles and turn left onto Lords Lake Road. At the lake stay left, and follow Forest Service Road 28 over Bon Jon Pass to the junction with Forest Service Road 2820, approximately 6 miles. Follow Forest Road 2820 for 4 miles to the TH
